1. Eutrophication is the enrichment of nutrient salts and development of a richer and more varied flora .

यूट्रोफिकेशन वह प्रक्रिया है जिसमें पोषक लवणों का संवर्धन होता है और विपुल मात्रा में विभिन्न मात्रा की पादप वनस्पतियां जन्म लेती हैं .

2. * SUPPORT the ASEAN Regional Action Plan in CITES Trade in Wild Fauna and Flora which aims at effective regional cooperation on improved implementation of CITES, including law enforcement collaboration through ASEAN-WEN;

2. हम वन्य जीव – जंतुओं एवं वनस्पतियों में सी आई टी ई एस व्यापार में आसियान क्षेत्रीय कार्य योजना का समर्थन करते हैं जिसका उद्देश्य सी आई टी ई एस के कार्यान्वयन में सुधार पर कारगर क्षेत्रीय सहयोग करना है जिसमें आसियान – डब्ल्यू ई एन के माध्यम से कानून के प्रवर्तन के क्षेत्र में सहयोग शामिल है;

3. Ground flora and the thick layer of litter and humus in the forests act as sponge and help retain the water received in the form of rain or through the melting of snow ; this prevents floods in the plains .

वनों में धरती पर पाए जाने वाले छोटे - छोटे पौधे , जमीन पर गिरी हुई पत्तियों की मोटी तह और खाद - मिट्टी स्पंज का काम करती है तथा बरसात एवं बर्फ के पिघलने से आए पानी को बचाकर रखने में सहायता करती है .

4. FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING the progress made against wildlife trafficking in the region through the financial and technical support and assistance from the international community in helping countries in EAS Countries to build resources, expertise and capacity to address the illegal exploitation and trade in wild fauna and flora.

वन्य जीव – जंतुओं एवं वनस्पतियों के गैर कानूनी शोषण एवं व्यापार से निपटने के लिए संसाधनों, विशेषज्ञता एवं क्षमता का निर्माण करने के लिए ई ए एस देशों में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय से वित्तीय एवं तकनीकी सहायता एवं समर्थन के माध्यम से इस क्षेत्र में वन्य जीव दुर्व्यापार के विरूद्ध हुई प्रगति को भी स्वीकार करते हुए,

There are six working groups a) Arctic Contaminants Action Program (ACAP); Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP); (c) Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF);(d) Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response (EPPR); (e)Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment (PAME); and (f) Sustainable Development Working Group(SDWG).

इसके 6 कार्य समूह हैं (क) आर्कटिक संदूषक कार्य योजना (ए सी ए पी); (ख) आर्कटिक निगरानी एवं मूल्यांकन कार्यक्रम (ए एम ए पी); (ग) आर्कटिक क्षेत्र के जीव जंतुओं एवं वनस्पतियों का संरक्षण (सी ए एफ एफ); (घ) आपातकालीन रोकथाम, तत्परता एवं पत्युत्तर (ई पी पी आर); (ड.) आर्कटिक समुद्री पर्यावरण का संरक्षण (पी ए एम ई); और (च) संपोषणीय विकास कार्य समूह (एस डी डब्ल्यू जी)।
